09.10.2008  NFFC Presentation Night - Senior Presentation results

Just some brief news...

On Friday night, the 19th September the WRFL Presentation Night was held.
The club was again very prominent highlighted by winning the Wilson
Security WRFL Club of the Year for the fourth successive year. This is a
fantastic achievement that is much sought after. In short, it validates
what a great job we all do in ensuring our club operates in an effective
manner.

Special congratulations also must go to our Administrator, Raeleene
Eldridge for winning the  WRFL Lindsay Patching Memorial Club
Administrator of the Year. Raeleene works tirelessly in coordinating
operations for the club and is an overdue, well deserved winner. She is
also the main driver behind our repeated success in the Club of the Year
award.

Brendan Lucas (yes Wokka's son) won the Under 18B Competition Best and
Fairest for season 2008. Brendan is a brillant young player and we look
forward to him joining the senior team next season.

The following evening in the impressive function room at the Westend Hotel
(it reminded me of the events I have attended at the Crown Pallidium), 150
people attended the 2008 North Footscray FC Presentation Night. Thanks to
all those who made it and turned the night into such a spectacular
evening.
Credit especially to Renee McHale,Raeleene Eldridge and many others for
all their hard work in organising the gala affair. I will have some photos
on the website over the next week.
